Eva Aldea is a writer, lecturer, editor and artist.

​

Her latest publication is Forced Swimming Test (Broken Sleep Books, 2025), four personal essays on neurodivergence, family, mental health and meds. 

 

Possible Selves (Intergraphia Books 2024) is a pamphlet  that explores her photographic practice and ideas around body image and the gaze. ​For more self-portraits in masks visit @to_look_like_a_dog on Instagram.

Her debut novel Singapore was published with Holland House in 2023 and she is currently working one her next book, Stockholm.​

Eva teaches literature, critical theory and creative writing for University of London and elsewhere. She is also freelance Editor in Chief at W.R.K.S Games.
